About Us
Where it started .....
I came across an antique version of these beautiful wardrobes many years ago when I was looking to furnish my new house in the country. I immediately fell in love with the shape and size of these deceptively spacious wardrobes. Instead of putting large pieces of brown furniture in guest bedrooms, I thought that these would be less overbearing and much more attractive. I sat down and drew a sketch, with measurements, and my on-site carpenter did the rest. Perfect first time and I don’t get to say that very often! Friends started to show interest for home and business projects and I have never looked back.

Then What?
I started in 2011, with small projects for private clients. After several upholstered versions had been made I thought it might be interesting to try a ‘solid’ version, that could be painted instead of upholstered. It was fitted with internal shelving and double doors for easy access (very important as it now serves as a drinks cabinet).
The devil is in the detail, as they say, so I am always looking out for interesting knobs and catches. The visible ironmongery can be in chrome-plated brass, solid brass, or even gilded. There are modern, antique or quirky choices. You choose.
And to top it all, the finial. It can be just smooth, or a pineapple or, yes, you guessed it, you can have whatever you want!
